Ok, I admit that following up one's own post is the essence of cheese, but
I've listened to this album a couple times now and it's very striking. Wow,
it's difficult to conceive this music being released on a major label but
I'm glad they did. It's so dense that it's difficult to absorb in one
listening, often a sign of the best music. "Cicatriz Esp" is fantastic-- a
12 minute amalgam of A Perfect Circle, Angie Aparo, Pink Floyd (Animals),
later Led Zeppelin, Yes (Close To The Edge), 70's King Crimson, Santana,
Miles Davis (Bitches Brew) and lots of Radiohead. This is worth checking
out.
