Well, uh, actually, their second set WAS quite a bit more adventurous
and proggy than their first... very much so. I suspect this is in
keeping with the jam-band tradition. I had to leave before the set was
over (I left at 1 am! Can't say they didn't give the audience their
money's worth).
I wondered when I noticed that their show from this year's Bonnaroo
Festival was available for download -- and was 5 CD's long. I guess
five-hour shows are Standard Operating Procedure, huh? I was sorry I
couldn't make the Variety gig, but I will definitely try to get to
Isis/Dysrythmia this week (Thursday) at the Drunken Unicorn.
