hahaha...
Even the same club can vary widely, it seems: Within the last two
months, two friends' bands have played the Masquerade. One band told
me that their monitor sound was the very worst they'd ever experienced
in five years of touring (and that says a lot, considering some of the
dives they've played).....and meanwhile, the other band said they'd had
"excellent" monitor sound for their show at the Masquerade. (!)
Different nights, different house sound-guys. I've asked my roommate,
who seemingly owns the venue in absentia, to find out which one's
which. :)
