[atlantaprog] Lindsay Smith Band / Speechless / Mercury Drop TRIPLE BILL Sat 8/18 @ Club 29

Hi all-

Hope your summer is treating you well and a way has
been found to beat this heat we have had
lately....feels more like Phoenix than Atlanta!

I have an exciting, diverse show to share with you all
this week.  On Saturday the 18th (yeah, NEXT Saturday)
we will be back at one of our fave haunts, Club 29 in
Decatur! We have put together a really cool bill with
two acts that we are more than a little impressed
with!

The Lindsay Smith Band will open the evening with
their blend of acoustic tinged, self-professed
"alterna-cheese" tunes. In case you don't know,
Lindsay is our drummer Derik's lovely wife and quite a
talent in her own right.  

Speechless will be bringing our sassy blend of
instrumental rock once again, if you have yet to see
us, well....what are you waiting for?  How much "prog"
you get on an average month in ATL nowdays??  'Nuff
said!  Come see us!

Mercury Drop will close the show with their rather
Tool-eque musical sounds.  Though that really only
describes some tunes, aren't really that dark all the
time.  All of the bands can be heard at MySpace.
