[atlantaprog] Jimmy Robinson/Huffington Post review

Georgianne Nienaber has a nice review of Jimmy Robinson's "Vibrating Strings"
CD on the
Huffington Post. Coincidentally, Jimmy is currently reading Ms.
Huffington's brilliant, enlightening and infuriating 2003 book "Pigs At The
Trough"
     Thank you, Georgianne

The Ogden gig on Thursday went swimmingly well. Long-time Twangorama
videographer Tommy Macintosh filmed the gig in the beautiful Ogden Atrium with
Jimmy's son, David, as one of the cameramen. Long-time friend, David Stocker
did
the audio recording. Look for the whole shebang soon on jimmyrobinsonmusic.com
Special thanks to the Ogden's Libra Legronne.

Tomorrow, Friday, July 25th is the Carrollton Station show with
percussionist Michael Skinkus tearing the roof off the joint on several of
Jimmy's
pieces, Johnny Sketch's Mark Paradis on electric cello, Mistress of the Irish
Bouzouki Beth Patterson and Twangorama's Cranston Clements and Phil deGruy as
guests. Lots of duos, and some over the top, everybody-on-stage performances

Saturday at 4 p.m., an in-store at the greatest record store in the
universe, New Orleans Music, Jazz Blues Zydeco Cajun Music, Louisiana Music
Factory

Sunday, Jimmy and his wife, Ann, celebrate 20 years of marriage
at home drinking wine. Thanks, Ann.
