[atlantaprog] Re: JA show, etc.

After a few days to digest, here is my take on the JA show. I agree with Allen,
his "revamping" of the older YES material was VERY interesting. I found myself
marvelling at the "CORE" intent of the songs minus all of the band filler. I
was VERY disappointed that he did not play at least one Olias tune, but, taking
into account that he had a terrible time remembering the lyrics to some songs
makes me believe that he has forgotten much of his stuff that is not in "heavy
rotation" as it relates to performing/touring. I was impressed that the venue
was very close to sold-out. I actually bought my tix on the street. I enjoyed
his stage presence. This was a very rare treat to see JA in an intimate
setting. Atlanta should be counting their blessings that he was able to perform
here. Speaking of Atlanta performances, I was BLOWN OUT OF MY PANTS when Allen
told me that both NEKTAR and 21st CSB are schedules to be here too. Both of
those are MUST see events.

PS.....Brian from Lord Only...good to meet you after the show. I'll be seeing
you guys at the Noise.com / LO show.

Enjoyed the pre-show dinner with everybody too.............Harold
