[atlantaprog] Re: Is this thing on?

Andrew! Congrats about the job and about expecting another son!!!! Thats great
news!!! :-)

Hope to see you at a gig soon. I don't think I'll get to come next Thursday to
the 9lives gig:( But I'm hoping that I can get over Sat. to CJ's for the
Noisedotcom gig with As We Dream. Sounds great! :-)

PEACE
Beth

Wassup, all my Prog Peeps! After lurking for some time, I'm relatively
convinced the socio-political roundable is over. Thus I rejoin your regularly
scheduled list, already in progress. I hope all you out there in ARIA land are
doing well.

Sorry we've been out of the loop - caused us to miss several super-keen
shows, it sounds like. Belated congrats on that Sat. night at CJ's a while
back - sounds like a great turn out. Ground is being gained, no question.
First we take Manhattan..

Anywho, about being out of the loop, it's funny how that can happen. Since I
spoke to most of you last time I have: changed jobs (for the better, I assure
you), found out my wife and I are having another baby (it's a boy, again),
completed (almost) tracking and started mixing the next Taybacks record,
completed 3-4 unclassifiable SSScience tracks for possible release later this
year, and started tracking the sequel to the Daemon. So we've been somewhat
busy.

And so but we felt it was time to pull away for a bit, see what would be the
best course of ongoing research for our organization. Initially, we thought we
would not play live again for some time, if at all.

But after reaching certain challenging conclusions, we're rennovating the
Citadel of SSScience for our guests enjoyment and comfort. It's not like you
guys needed to hear the same set (+ or - 2-3 songs) from us yet again. y'know?
Nor did our other "fans" -- all 7 of them. So certain changes are being made,
inequities rectified, laws of tradition defied. Gear purchased, evaluated,
returned, purchased again in a fit of "equipment frenzy," then finally sold on
Ebay in despair. Studios rearranged, issues addressed, grievances settled.
Broken things thrown out or broken further and pressed into new and immediate
service.

All this bullshit aside, we're looking to go back, Jack, and do it again
sometime in April or thereabouts. So have at thee, knaves.

Fieldy from Korn is the best bassist ever. EVER.

  -Andy

PS - I have no access to my (still active) hotmail account from work , so I
have to use the list here to request that Matthew Trautwein and/or Sean Tonar
get in touch w/ me @ andrew.tegethoff@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (my new work address).
TIA!
