Allen,

The easy solution is to have several CD "walkmans"
instead, complete with earphones for listening...or at
least earphones with boomboxes.

You handle two things doing it this way...one, you
won't have any problem with the "noise clause" the
festival promoters have, and if the place *IS* noisy
(I would imagine so when a band is performing), then
the headphones would help to block out some of that
while somebody is listening to the CDs.

While I would love to be there to help out, the last
week in April is the likely time that we are going to
deliver the baby (due date is May 5th, but per the
doctors we are scheduling a C-Section, and it will
likely happen one to two weeks before the due date). 
Therefore, our hands will be full!

I think that this is a great idea, though...and I hope
that some of the ARIA bands take advantage of it!  And
I would not give up on trying to get a slot to play
the festival either...nothing ventured, nothing
gained...!
