[atlantaprog] I owe you an apology...

Back in November I posted some things on this list about a local
musician named Kenny Cresswell.

As for my insinuation of theft there was never any proof of Kenny's
involvement with anything other than prima facie. Had I any physical
proof of wrong doing on Kenny's part, I certainly would have contacted
the police back then.

Because of this, I feel that I should apologize for possibly misleading
anyone as to Kenny's character. I sincerely do not want his family or
business partners to be misled by what I said and think of Kenny in the
wrong way.

As far as the phone call that I witnessed, I heard him talking on the
phone as I stood in his office and waited to speak with him. After he
hung up he told me what he had done. In hindsight I probably should not
have taken his word at face value or as fact, even though it was
presented as such. People say a lot of things just to "seem cool," but
that does not make those things necessarily true. I certainly should
not have posted it here on the list. It was likely a very unfair
characterization of Kenny, especially considering that this was all over
a decade ago, and I was only privvy to one side of the conversation.

Again, for this I apologize to the list, to Kenny, and anyone who reads
this (including his family, business associates , etc.) for saying the
things that I said. It was not fair of me to post what I did, and I hope
that no one would judge Kenny (or anyone) based solely on my postings,
or opinions, past or present.

In general, it is ALWAYS best to form your own opinions based on your
own experience, especially when it comes to people. One should not base
his beliefs about someone (or some thing for that matter) based upon
what another person says unless it is consistent with what you already
know to be true based upon your OWN experience. That goes for me as
well as anyone else out there reading this.

Sincerely,

Alex Filacchione
