Hey Beth,

     I know that CJ's has undergone almost a complete overhaul as far as 
their band-related staff goes,  so it may be that your inquiry was 
received by the old regime when the back room was being coordinated by 
Gary and Fran Mann.  I think that Phil (the owner) has a bit of input on 
who plays now,  but the man to talk to these days is Curtis Clark,  who 
many of us may remember from the Dark Horse Tavern,  pre 10 High.
     Also,  I think timing is everything.  When I talked to Curtis 
several weeks ago,  Karma Lingo was a definite no-go for a gig,  but 
when he sent out an email this week looking for ideas for his slow 
nights,  I was able to get my foot in the door.
     Anyhow,  if Noise.com would like to participate,  just have'em drop 
me an email and I'll put them into the rotation.
