[atlantaprog] Greetings, fellow prog'ers

Hi y'all.

I'm Eric, and I play keyboards and write and keep a little studio in my
loft. I'm in this prog-rock band called Agent Cooper, which is (despite
rumors to the contrary) alive and well, albeit not gigging out a whole
lot at the moment. We always had a tough time drawing a crowd, and thus
decided to focus our efforts on recording and trying to move product
over the 'Net. We can hardly give away tickets to see our shows in
Atlanta, but funny, in Poland they love us... <sigh>

AC is slooowly working on a new record. We actually had 4 tunes cut and
mixed at Exocet (this was probably, geez, 2 years ago by now), but
ended up ditching all of the recordings - we just weren't happy with
what we'd done. In the meantime, drummer Forrest Robinson got the gig
with India.Arie, to be replaced by Corey, then Bud; bassist Glenn
Longmuir left to devote more time to family and work, to be replaced by
Sean; Doug is still The Man; and I continue to be on the road just
enough that I end up missing most of the rehearsals... :-( Lawd knows
what they're coming up with at any given time for me to have to learn,
but it seems like there's a lot of it.

How many folks are on this list, and what's this group doing? Besides
Matthew, are there any other keyboard players out there? I feel so out
of the loop! Also, I didn't recognize any familiar local band names on
the bill for ProgPower IV, which seems kinda strange...

For the curious, happy noises can be found at
http://www.agentcooper.com/ and there are other mp3's on my site as
well.

Anyway, hello all.

e
