But that IS part of the tone.  There's a certain glassiness, bite and
'pluck' he gets that comes from that.  He had a song with Seal on the
Hendrix tribute that came out a few years back that demonstrated this pretty
well.  Whatever else he does, I don't know, but it is amazing.
