That's what I heard. Or maybe one of his other groups. Wasn't *The
Fans* one of his groups? I didn't live in Atl. in those days.

Hey - just in case one of you know some who might fit the bill.
This is from Kevin Dunn for his new group. You may recall Kevin as
a fixture on Atlanta's scene in the 80s, producing acts like B52s
and Pylon, and opening for Talking Heads with his own band (whose
name, unfortunately escapes me right now).
We had his new group at Eyedrum in December, and if like that artsy
80s singer-songwriter style (ala Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, etc.)
then you'll probably really like what he's doing now.

ART-ROCK CULT GUY SEEKS
FEMALE SINGER/GUITARIST
After years of recorded parts not getting played live because of a
foolish sentimental consistency about four-piece bands, I’m fed up:
I need a fifth collaborator to fill in the gaps.
About the singing: I want a female woman of the XX chromosomal
persuasion for this because I like to sing over an alto or a mezzo
for harmonies in two voices. (No telling what I'll do for three
parts, but ... )
About the guitar playing: Virtuosity not required -- these are
utility-outfielder parts. I'll probably be supplying the guitar and
amp, because I need for the instrument to be used to be fitted with
a Roland GK-3 synthesizer pickup and for the module that the pickup
drives to be amplified in stereo.
Oh, yeah: I recommend that you take a look at www.myspace.com/
kevinmcfoydunn to decide if this is even the kind of stuff you want
to do. Then drop me a note on the site or at my regular email,
kmcfd@xxxxxxxxxxx, or call me on my cell, (404) 202-9563, and we'll
check each other out. Thanks.
