Subject: The legendary PFM & Peter Hammill

Dear friends at ELP DIGEST,

Please find a press release enclosed about exciting news from the
legendary Italian prog-rock band PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi). I
am sure ELP fans remember the band for being signed by Manticore and
for their brilliant international charts (how can you forget
"Celebration" and "The World Became the World"?).

We presently have a great collaboration with Peter Hammill for the
new CD/DVD of PFM. The new recording will be presented in a live
"Celebration" show - Milan on November 11th -, and a big comeback
concert to London is planned for winter/spring 2003.

Email me for any further information!!

Thanks. All the best,

Corrado Canonici

PRESS RELEASE
Peter Hammill writes lyrics (and sings!!) for the legendary Italian
prog-rock band PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi)

The former Van Der Graff Generator singer Peter Hammill wrote lyrics
on a bonus track ? called ?Sea of Memory? - for the forthcoming DVD/CD
by PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi) due to be released for Sony this
November. The DVD/CD was recorded live on the band?s highly successful
2002 Japan tour.

PFM is Italy?s most popular prog-rock band ever, attaining great
international acclaim since being signed in the ?70s by Emerson, Lake
& Palmer?s record label Manticore. Their Manticore albums ?The world
became the world?, Photos of ghosts?, ?PFM live in the USA? soared up
the charts both in the UK and in the States (Billboard).

The new recordings will be presented in the concert ?Celebration
Day? in Milan, November 11th 2002: this concert will also feature
Peter Hammill singing ?Sea of Memory? (the new piece) with PFM. The
former PFM founding member Mauro Pagani (violin/flute/vocals) will
also play with the band - for the first time after 25 years!!

This year saw the band embarking on a world tour including Japan
and Central America.

The Japan dates sold wildly over expectations: PFM sold out every
evening, and new dates had to be added. Their recent Central American
dates sold out as well.

Plans are developing for UK dates in the very near future - together
with tours of Italy, the US and one more Japan tour in 2003.

A big comeback concert in London is planned for the beginning of
2003, also featuring Peter Hammill!! Contact the UK management for
further information at enquiries@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
