I saw the show in Athens on Friday. Front row seats to a solo show by a great hero of my adolescence, with Q&A thrown in? I was thrilled . Though the whole progam lasted 2 hours, it was the perfect length. Fripp mischieviously read aloud a poorly written article about himself and Crimson from local rag "The Flagpole," torturing a Flagpole writer who was present for the article's dismantling. It was much more in the vein of entertainment than mean-spiritedness (though he clearly hates to see the English language mangled.) In a nutshell, it was fun and informative evening, and I thoroughly enjoyed both the soundscapes and observing the soundscape construction process. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
