[atlantaprog] Re: For Gibson SG Fans

What the heck can you do with a double neck that you can't do with a regular
guitar anyway? Or is it just a costume?

Not so fast......It's very possible that the guitar strap does-in-fact attach
at the headstock. Many guitar straps come with a "shoe-lace"-type string tied
to one end. It is very possible that this string was tied under the strings
right behind the nut of the 12-string neck.
I can tell you this though, since I own a Gibson double-neck, my experience
tells me that this would be a VERY difficult way to hold the guitar since the
double-neck is "neck-heavy" to begin with. This method of attachment would only
make matters worse..........My bet is that this was a one-off photo session
pose. I'm sure that EP never really used a double neck live.

Cool site!

Brian, I am pretty sure it is Photoshop trickery.
Look at the strap, it is at an angle that yells "I am
really attached to the headstock of an acoustic
guitar". I haven't seen too many electrics that have
straps that attach at the headstock, so I think it is
fake. Cool shot anyway though...

Hey, how was the Florida gig? A lot of folks on the
list here have been wondering. Fill us in bro.
