The AJC had a short but interesting article today in the Living
Section (see link below) about the current “Yes” lineup. Chris
Squire said that “he’d like to record a new Yes album next year and
go on a world tour with the two comparative youngsters“.
Eech. I can imagine (DON'T START!) a new Yes album with Oliver
Wakeman, but I can't imagine one without Jon Anderson, especially if
he can recover sufficiently next year. (Of course, I couldn't have
imagined one in before 1980, either--almost no one could've who
didn't already dislike Jon's voice and/or style.) It'd be
interesting having both Jon and Benoit David, I suppose--he could
spot Jon on tour singing *Drama* tunes and taking Trevor Rabin's lead
parts (if Steve Howe would deign to play "Changes").
