Hello all,
I have just had a long conversation with Christine, Hugh's widow, and she asked me to pass on the following request. Quite apart from having to deal with the loss of Hugh, she, and her and Hugh's daughter Rosa, have a few difficult months ahead financially, before Christine can earn again, after months of dealing with Hugh's illness and its aftermath. There is a concert next week at Le Triton which was originally intended as a benefit for Hugh, and is still going ahead, but now as a fundraiser for helping to pay outstanding bills and debts and, basically, get along. This may not be enough, and Christine says that if anyone feels they can contribute, donations are still more than welcome. Although Christine and Hugh married shortly before his passing, donations should still be made in her maiden name, Christine Janet.
