Well, judging from the crowd at the Kansas show in Kinder, Louisiana on
Friday, I'd say that there were plenty of dad's (and quite possibly
grandparents) present...onstage as well as off. It looked like there were
very few people under the age of 40. The really funny thing is most people
there didn't seem to have any idea what was going on. I think they were
expecting an hour of "Dust in the Wind". I did see one guy in the front row
who actually seemed to be enjoying himself. He was manically air drumming
along with every song...either that or he was being attacked by insects.
Anyway, the title of "Dad Rock" seems to fit pretty well at the Kansas show.
