I used to quite enjoy Queensryche around the time of Operation: Mindcrime, but the impression I get is that they're pretty well washed up now. I've tried Dream Theater and James LaBrie's vocals veer way too close to Steve Perry/Steve Walsh terrain for my tastes. Fates Warning is kind of a wild card in that I've only heard two of their albums one of which, Parallells, I didn't particularly like, the other of which, A Pleasant Shade Of Grey, I did like. CH
