On Friday and Saturday, May 18th & 19th, Eyedrum presents a
celebration of space music. Friday night ("Outer Space") will feature
edgier space-ambiance and full-on space rock, while Saturday ("Inner
Space") wil feature more contemplative ambient space music.
Both shows start at 9 PM. Admission is $8 per evening, or $10 for

Artists featured on Friday include raw and aggressive Hawkwind
protégées "Spaceseed", post-prog psychedelia purveyors "Z-Axis",
freeform improv collective "Strix Varia", and percussion/noise artist

Saturday artists include Shush, featuring Drolma, the voice behind
the late, lamented Blue Velveta, Texas ambient guitarist P.D. Wilder,
the swirling, slippery soundscapes of Scott Burland & Frank Schultz'
Duet For Theremin & Lapsteel, and the multi-faceted synthesizer
experiments of Tannhauser Gate.
