[atlantaprog] Re: Controversy

     Paul's interview with the members of a Canadian Screech Band called
Slush was classic and listening to Catty Glee, Fills Purse, and Alice
Deathsong (s/he wisely got a sex-change) was great too. Alice even spoke
about the recent sex change operation, but it wasn't nearly as good as
the interview with the classic prog band Guinesses, or the 70's band NO.
Recently I had a talk with Lief Sackett where he told all the stories of
the band and how Fill Pollins wanted to change the sound to a pop band.
Phony Blanks was all for it until Like Featherbird voted against it. He
also tells of the beer company they built on used oil they call
Guinesses Dark Beer, they just added a few hops, used oil, some alcohol
and poof they got beer. 
As for the band NO the members today are: Lon Slanderson, Lief Powe,
Fist Fire, Ballad Site, and Sick Flakeman and are currently touring with
Cream Hurther featuring Dike Fartnoy, Bon Petchewme, Gordon Flutus, and
Shaun Imhung and will be featuring the song Roundastout.
