This list has gotten boring. We haven't had any arguments on here in a
long time. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you several topics:
Did Trevor Rabin save Yes or ruin it?
Genesis was better after Peter Gabriel left.
John Wetton and Eddie Jobson did their best work in Roxy Music.
Playing guitar is meaningless without crunchy distortion. PodXT my
arse...I need a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier.
Billy Joel was prog--up until he married Christy Brinkley.
Sheet music is a crutch for people who can't improvise.
Prog is progressive. It progresses. It's about progress. That's why
anything prog has to include samples from a 1936 Hammond organ and a
1967 Mellotron, and at least one authentic large monophonic transistor
device with patch cables which refuses to remain in tune.
"I suppose if I could keep the sex and drugs I could do without the
rock and roll"--Mick Shrimpton, _This Is Spinal Tap_, 1983.
Seventy-one additional points well worth pondering:
