That's a little presumptuous IMHO. Musicians aren't obligated to socialize after a show if their not feeling good. I could tell he was getting seriously PO'd when his gear started acting up. I would have preferred to be left alone too. As far as it being a Roye solo show - well essentially Nektar was a Roye solo band! He wrote & sang most of the material as well as playing the guitar (very well I might add). The original bass player wasn't able to tour due due family obligations and the new guy seems to be very well acclimated into to group, moreso than just a sideman. And the original keyboard guy had to drop out just before the tour due to his wife's health and the new guy has only done a few shows with them so far. He seems to be getting the hang of it! I personally thought original drummer Ron Howden was as much fun to watch as Roye.
