I don't think that there is anything that says that you can't have a
little get-together/slash meeting before the Noise/LO show in ADDITION
to the regularly scheduled Feb meeting. There is an entire seating area
by the bar on the opposite end of the place where the bands play where
you could hold the meeting. Just put up a little ARIA sign on the table
or something so people know where to meet. It might be a good way to
get NON musicians (or people directly involved in it) to attend, or at
least find out about it. Prog music fans can have just as good input as
the musicians, and might even attend more shows if they know about them.
I would find out what time the bands start and hold the meeting an hour
earlier. Just something casual, invite the show attendees to
participate, get the word out about ARIA, etc. You could even promote
the Feb 11th meeting!
