his website's online store. This is a great way to support one of our genre's 
greatest talents. I have a real soft spot for supporting our artists. After all

Supposedly he'll still be doing studio work, but it's a very short announcement 
with no remarks from Bill himself.  He is, however, preparing his autobiography 
for publication, (very good) excerpts of which he has posted on his blog.  
Let's hope it's not permanent!
