[atlantaprog] Attention bandless proggers........

Dear fellow ARIA members,
Hey guys and gals, local progressive guitarist Harold Timms here¡K With
the start of a new year, it looks like I¡¦m about ready to start a new, all
instrumental prog band. I have several tunes completely arranged and several
works-in-progress and am looking for the following instrumentalists: Drums,
Bass, keys, wind instrument (preferably midi controller-type thing or possibly
soprano sax or clarinet)
Describing my music is difficult for me to do. Even though my
influences are: The big 5 plus everything from the Beatles to Black Sabbath to
Medieval and world music, most of my compositions lean towards the odd time
signature, Gentle Giant-type complex counterpoint stuff. Yet my flip-side is a
very ambient guitar-based looping thing too. (ala Frippertronics). Looking
forward to discussing possible collaborations with anyone who may be interested.

Bonus information:

?Y I have an excellent music room in the finished basement of my Norcross home.
?Y I have the ability to record direct to SONAR XL 2.2

I will be at the Variety Playhouse for the Jon Anderson show this Friday night
passing out free CD¡¦s after the show. Stop by, to get a CD and chat.

My direct email is: harold.timms@xxxxxxxxx

Attention: Jeff Blanks¡K.here¡¦s a great opportunity for you to flex some prog
muscle¡K.. ;-)

PS: I'll also be at the Noise.com show next month hanging out too.
