Hello all-
This is not exactly something we're trumpeting to the heavens for
several reasons, but the good people of ARIA should know:
Solution Science Systems is, for all current intents and purposes, kaput
as a working band.
Our illustrious guitarist/vocalist (and discoverer of the phonoton) Rob
MacGrogan is returning to Tallahassee, hopefully there to continue his
research with a new crop of dedicated scientists. And maybe -- just
maybe -- perform some kind of electoral miracle for 2008 (never doubt
the powers of Applied Solutionism within a framework of any given
statistical sample).
But damn, we'll miss him. It was a fun ride (as well as an assload of
hard work). But we can't replace the 3rd leg of this tripod -- SolSci
was, is, and will be just the 3 of us.
However, at least 3 new CDs by the various "S^3 Interdimensional Family
of Bands" are in the finishing stages, ready for release by early next
year (if not sooner). Plus we are definitely not just throwing away the
sequel to "Daemon Ex Machina", which is about 70% written. In some form
or another, SolSci will live, breathe and aerobicise. I'll keep the
group posted on that sort of news.
Thanks to all for kind words and support. Whatever happens, we'll know
at least some of you guys "got it". And now, I happen to know of a
certain rhythm section looking to re-staff. Interested parties inquire
within for details....
