[atlantaprog] 2 out of 3 Solution Scientists Agree... it's time to ROCK

Hello,
I'm Andy Tegethoff, and I play the bass guitar. You may remember me
from such bands as Solution Science Systems, Naked Elf, the Taybacks,
MEXICO, the Tennessee Tarkus Trio, Greasy Greasy Grandma, and Henry
Porter.

Anywho, after many many months of inactivity, hand-wringing, and some
really excellent cross-stitching, my good friend and drummer Kelly Shane
and I are now "officially" ready (I have the paperwork right here) to
put together a new band.

Thus, we are looking for a lead guitarist and possibly a lead singer
with whom to melt the faces of audiences across the Metro area. Our
mandate is ROCK with a capital "Hell, yeah." To wit, our 3 basic goals
are the following:
1) To play out as much as possible in front of actual humans, and
entertain them to within an inch of their very lives at every
opportunity
2) To not worry about all the other crap, which doesn't matter anyway in
the long run.
3) "To be a rock, and not to roll"

Prog, just to be clear, is not on the agenda. We've got more than
enough of that sort of foolishness going on with other projects.
Instead, here's where we're at as the rhythm section, for the purposes
of this band:
Jonesy/Bonzo, Ox/Moon, Bruce/Baker, Butler/Ward, Redding/Mitchell,
McCartney/Starr, Wyman/Watts, Weymouth/Franz, Smith/Ficca,
Rutherford/Collins, Waters/Mason, Wetton/Bruford, Lane/Jones,
Thomas/Thomas

We're looking at being up and running by Jan-Feb, with some preliminary
work to commence ASAP. You bring the lightning, we'll provide the
thunder.

All interested parties, please to make email onto the following area:

Thanks for playing, and may the Schwarz be with you,
-Andy
