[atari7800] Some questions - part 2..

Oh, and one more thing I meant to ask..
What actually happen on real hardware when you run out of cycles on a DL ?
Does it simply get aborted in time (which I can't imagine happening), and
the next line started in an orderly fashion ?
Or does something else happen ?
I suspect the something else, but have no idea what to expect..
Can anyone enlighten me on this ?
