I am not working of any development projects, but am continuing to do a
lot of research into the working of the 7800 hardware. I am currently
documenting the wide range of cartridge hardware variations. Some have
already been posted on my home page (http://www.atarihq.com/danb). I
still have a bunch of other carts in the works.
I know what you mean about the architecture, it baffled me for the
longest time. When I wrote my 7800 emulator I got a clear understanding
of how the hardware worked, but still had no clue how you would actually
write a game using the graphics hardware.

Subject: [atari7800] Any projects going on yet?
Hi all,
I was wondering what projects are going on right now. I know Eric is =
working on Space War. Are there any others?
I'm trying to get a handle on the architecture. This machine is =
different from any machine I've coded for in the past. I look forward to
learning = this little machine. I, like others, just wish Atari would
have used a better sound chip.
Speaking of which, are any projects planning on using a POKEY or any =
other chip in the cart?=20
Take care,
Dennis
