[atari7800] 320 modes

Hi,

a quick question about the 320 modes:

For *all* 320 modes, with Kangaroo mode off, is this true?

Which would imply that 320A/C are not really 320 modes unless Kangaroo
mode is on.  Unless I'm misreading that.  Does the "it" in this phrase,
"it will not be transparent" refer to the pair of pixels or the single
pixel?  I've been assuming it meant the pair, but after re-reading that
paragraph and some other stuff on AA, I think I've been wrong.
