Bug 1995026  OERI:17112 / heap corruption from Oracle Trace with MTS &
Large Pool
 This note gives a brief overview of bug 1995026.
Affects:

    Product (Component) Oracle Server (Rdbms)
    Range of versions believed to be affected   Versions >= 8.1.7 but < 9.2
    Versions confirmed as being affected        

        * 8.1.7.2
        * 9.0.1.2 

    Platforms affected  Generic (all / most platforms affected)

Fixed:

    This issue is fixed in      

        * 8.1.7.3 (Server Patch Set)
        * 9.0.1.3 (Server Patch Set)
        * 9.2.0.1 (Base Release)

Workaround: Turn off Oracle Trace if it is not being used.
