Dropped by Spindletop in Lexington over lunch to see around 600 Canada Geese
(with the size variety and the fact that most were sleeping the identification
of Cackling was difficult) at the pond.
The thaw had also brought in
2 White-fronted Geese.
2 Pintail both Male
10 Gadwall
39 Mallard
5 Ring Necked Duck
6 Shovelar
4 Black Duick
and Red tailed hawks building nests.
