Hi Andreas,
Hallo Michael,
I would like to follow up with you about the issue(s) you have experienced
with Flash 7.2 Updater.
You might have been in touch with Francis Cheng, who has been actively
developing technical
documentation for Flash 7.2. I'm a member of the International Quality
Assurance team working
predominantly on localized versions of Flash.
Currently, we are assuming that you were using US version of Flash MX 2004
(7.0 or 7.0.1) on
a machine running a German operating system and then used the US 7.2 Updater
available on
Macromedia's website. From the nature of the problem, it would seem that it
might be a Windows
box.
I need to verify these assumptions or ask you supply the specifics, if they
are incorrect.
Although I would love to give you both an explanation and a solution to your
problem, because
I believe to know what it is, I have to ask you for this confirmation first.
With best regards,
J. Betak

Looks like that guy is German, and he may have the German version (or both)
installed?
The updater for German hasn't been released yet, and installing the English
version over a German original may lead to some weird results.

Didn't a few people report problems with help missing after installing GMC1?
See forwarded post from flashcoders...
(I'm just forwarding so someone sees, I have no further info)

this feature, click the Update button at the top of the Help tab." ...
as i told you before ... so tell me again not to go mad!

400 bug fixes, zillions of hours spent on QA, and now we're back in 2003
when we first opened the help?
@mm:

also: wenn du möchtest, dann kotakte doch
