Quite.
What you have to do is to delete all the internal lines and then places the
points of adjacent components over each other and they will join up at the
point.
This is what I had to do to make a Cross Engrailed. It started as a single
semicircle and then multiplied many times and ordered, aligned and carefully
joined. There are no internal lines, it is just one continuous line around
the perimeter. See:
