[artworks] Converting ordinary lines into Artistic Lines

Is is possible, or would it be possible later, to convert ordinary lines
into Artistic Lines? This would mean that, eg, you could draw a precise
shape and then make it an artistic line rather than having to draw it
freehand and then play with the nodes etc. to get it into the precise
shape you wanted.

I've just drawn a complex shape, then had to draw an artistic line over
the top and tweak every node/control point to make it match, which is a
pain to have to do each time :-(
