I can confirm that the ARMX6 does go slow at times when using
LanMan98 to an NAS. I raised it with Andrew a long time ago, soon
after I got the ARMX6. The only suggestions involved checking the
network hardware. I even bought a new Gb switch.

A PandaRO and RapidO IG do not suffer from the problem, nor did the
(now dead) Iyonix.

At one point I did some testing of LanManFS and USB stacks for Colin
Granville, and things were significantly improved. However, I am not
sure whether Colins changes have ever made it into the ARMX6 ROM.

With regard to file truncation of large files, Will Ling has raised a
similar problem recently on the ROOL forum. I think it is the last 64
KB that are lost.
