Just to clarify: I turn things off when I'm not using them anyway. :-) So
the ARMX6 is unpowered when using the Linux box, for example.
The advantage of the HDMI switch is that it also 'breaks out' digital audio
from my ARMX6. This lets me play 96k files into an external DAC.
I'd like to try and alternative switch, but as yet no-one has offerred me
one that has a digital audio breakout.
