Not to mention writes of 24+MB/sec. Whilst those aren't necessarily
"Windows" levels of performance, its a *massive* improvement in terms of
RISC OS networking.
Now, it's not always giving 28MB/sec - there's some considerable variance,
but it is an order of magnitude better then yesterday. Writes are more
consistant at the 20+MB/sec level, probably because there's less potential
for flooding etc.
If anyone would like to assist in the testing, please get in touch.
Note that 100Mb performance is also much improved, so this is a real step
forwards.
I'm quite excited. You may have noticed!
