Yes. This will work as Hal suggested too.

Sometimes even an emulation will work. On OS X using Parallels a Quato
display (via USB) could calibrated successfully.

You just would need to take your display from time to time (half year
for example) to a PC/Mac to calibrate it, then profile under Linux
with Argyll. Be aware that you should have a warm-up time of _at_least
1/2 hour, but butter >2h before you run the calibration (and later
the profiling).
