[argyllcms] ti1-format: creating RGB ti1-target manually?

Hi to all,
I was searching the documetation, but got not a real clue how the
ti1-format is composed.
I'd like to create a ti1-Target for monitor characterisation "by
hand" in the form:
BEGIN_DATA_FORMAT
RGB_R RGB_G RGB_B
END_DATA_FORMAT
BEGIN_DATA
0.000 0.000 0.000
127. 00 127.000 127.000
255.000 255.000 255.000
255.000 0.000 0.000
0.000 255.000 0.000
0.000 0.000 255.000
END_DATA
Is it possible to specify 8-Bit (0..255) instead of 0..100 values?
What are the minimal fields I need to define for the ti1? I also don't
understand the need/meaning of the XYZ values in the ti1-file which
will define the _device_ values to read?
Best regards
Peter
