[argyllcms] scanin crashing

If there is a bug reporting list that I should be pointing this email at
please let me know.

I'm obviously doing something stupid, but scanin is crashing on me, throwing
up one of those useful "scanin.exe has encountered a problem and must close"
dialogs.

What I'm trying to do is use my scanner to help profile my printer. What
I've done so far is this:

Scan a Kodak Q-60 target, from which I produced a scanner profile.

Generated a target (targen -v -t3 -f1026 Epson)

Produced postscript file (printtarg -v -s -iSS -pA4R Epson)

Imported the PS into Photoshop CS2 (selecting target as RGB), and print (in
PS print dialog set printer to determine colours, and turn off colour
management in printer dialog)

Scan the resulting output, and then run scanin -v -c "kodak picture.tif"
Epson.cht scanner.icm "kodak picture"

This command dies after a long time, the final output line being 'about to
read raster values'

I have a log of the output of the scanin command if that is of any use.

Any suggestions on how to get around this would be appreciated,

Thanks

Lloyd
