IMO depends on the use case. For "normal" color reproduction, which is
mostly done in a WP relative way, I find the the intersection of the
relative colorimetric gamuts more interesting. For proofing with
absolute intent, the absolute colorimetric gamuts need to be compared
though. And if you want to bring perceptual aspects into the play, then
it may be even interesting to compare not CIELAB but CIECAM02 gamuts
(for the desired viewing conditions).
