Can you integrate the DevD and CIED tags into one 'targ' tag?
There's actually only one data set in the profile, but two tag table entries that point to the same data. Maybe Graeme used the more "informal" CIED/DevD tags as the most recent specs became a little bit picky about the requirements for the content of the 'targ' tag:
"The first seven characters of the text shall identify the nature of the characterization data."
(Argylls identifier has only 4 characters. ProfileMaker data has no identifier but typically starts with "LGOROWLENGTH" followed by the number of columns per row of the testchart.)
"If the first seven characters match one of the identifiers defined in an ANSI or ISO standard, then the tag embeds the exact data file format defined in that standard. Each of these file formats contains an identifying character string as the first seven characters of the format, allowing an external parser to determine which data file format is being used. This provides the facilities to include a wide range of targets using a variety of measurement specifications in a standard manner." (ICC1v42_2006-05)
Graeme: I guess your CGATS Parser will not stumble upon additional whitespace, so maybe the most pragmatic solution would be to add 3 spaces to the first line and then use the 'targ' tag?
