The ColorChecker Passport software is actually free to download from X-Rite's site and works with the Classic ColorChecker. Much more versatile is Adobe's DNG Profile Editor, which not only will build color tables based on an image of a ColorChecker (any version), but lets you edit those color tables to your heart's content. Last, while we're on the subject...sometime this week I'm hoping to finally get around to creating Argyll chart references for the Passport, including not just the classic 24 patches but the 26 extra patches as well. Since that includes both a good range of more-saturated colors plus a bunch of near-neutral patches, I figure it can only help profiles to include them. Of course, I'll post my work here and hope that Graeme will include it in the next Argyll release. Cheers, b&
