Yes, it seems you'd have to build one yourself (or adapt
the mechanics from an old instrument - say a densitometer).
Some of the scientific probes have things like 0/45 "holders"
for the optic fibre source and pickup, but it's not quite
the same thing as a proper graphic arts instrument.
The main reason for being interested in an Ocean Optics
spectrometer (or equivalent) is to measure light sources
down to 300nm, and they do have stock probes that are good
for that sort of thing.
