[argyllcms] dispwin doesn't find VideoLUT on Suse 11.0

Hello,

I successfully installed Argyllcms and dispcalGUI.

Just at start, dispcalGUI complains:

Starting up...
Enumerating display devices and communication ports...
...ok.
Checking LUT access for display 1...
...failed!
Initializing GUI...
...ok.
Loading LUT curves of current display device profile...
...failed!
Ready.


To be sure:
jp@weltschmerz:/usr/local/dispcalGUI/Argyll_V1.0.3/bin>./dispwin -r
We don't have access to the VideoLUT
Normal beep
Good beep
Bad double beep

The instructions recommend that I check whether xconf.org contains
  Load         "extmod"
it does, in Section "Module"

What should I check next?
