[argyllcms] dispwin crashes with local scope on Ubuntu

I have reported this once before, but have since reinstalled Ubuntu 8.10 and it is still happening.

I am trying to install a profile with local scope. (Note: installing with user scope works, but I would like to have the appropriate profile loaded regardless of who logs in). The command I am using is:

dispwin -S l -I Samsung_226BW_20081228.icc

Below is the output from the crash (I have truncated the memory map). Any help or workarounds are appreciated!!

XRandR 1.2 is faulty - falling back to older extensions
