We found dispcalGUI crashing several times, but could not spot the
reason. I hope Florian can repeat these crashes and get them sorted out.

Are there any logfiles? (~/.local/share/dispcalGUI/logs)

I am not aware of. The crashes occured randomly. This was luck to us, as
we could continue the workshop. The behaviour should become visible
after several tries. We used vanilla openSUSE-11.4 packages.

I've not been able to reproduce the crashes. I used the openSUSE 11.4 KDE x86_64 LiveCD and Argyll 1.3.2 from Buildservice/Multimedia, dispcalGUI 0.7.3.7. Six consecutive calibrate and profile runs around ~15 minutes each, all default settings (except tone curve which I set to sRGB to cut down on time needed a bit, as this is the native response of my display), with a i1 Display 2 (don't have a DTP94, but I assume it shouldn't play a role in this case). Test machine was a Mac Mini (2009, Core2Duo).

Logs would really help as if it's a problem in the Python code (or anything that Python has control over, like the Argyll subprocesses), they'll contain the full traceback together with linenumbers, making troubleshooting a lot easier (but tracebacks should also be visible in the terminal, if dispcalGUI is run from there).
